National Training Awards
Printable version

The National Training Awards are the premier accolade for training and development in the UK and are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
The Awards identify and celebrate organisations and individuals that have achieved really outstanding business and personal success through investment in training.

The Awards are unique because entries are received from all sectors, industries and areas across the UK and in return the entrants are provided with the exceptional opportunity to have their training judged against the best in the UK.

26% of our winners have seen bottom line benefits.

Winning a National Training Award brings with it a real sense of pride and kudos. The external recognition can help you really raise the profile of your organisation and the work you are doing. An Award demonstrates your commitment to investing in your people, positions you as forward-thinking and gives you a competitive edge. For individuals, a career can be transformed and motivation boosted.

There are a number of free sessions being held in February and March, run by NTA professionals, who will walk you through the process of preparing your entry and give you hints and tips on what the judges are looking for.

You will also learn how to get the most out of putting together your entry – which past entrants have indicated is a very valuable exercise all by itself! For details of an information session in your area contact the NTA.

There are three ways for you to enter the Awards – online, by email or by post. For more information see our website or contact the NTA at
