Dispelling any feelings of doom and gloom in these challenging economic times, staff at Lerch Bates embraced the spirit of competition at their summer party, forming six competing skittles teams.

Fairplay, a sense of community, support and motivation were the order of the night as the teams threw themselves into the competition. Some may say that fairplay was missing however that comment possibly came from the losing team!

Lerch Bates, have often said – of the work they do – it is essential to do it right first time. And they feel the same way about running their business – it is essential not only to do things right – but to do the right things. This is demonstrated by their commitment to creating and maintaining a happy workplace in which their staff are dedicated to delivering a quality service at all times.

Feeling well and truly "elevated", the winning team, who each received a bottle of champagne, was comprised of (L-R) Mark Bashford, Chan Meng, Steve Fall, Thet Khin, David Long, Mel Walker and Gurpal Gill.
